Rebecca Malone has always had a love for crafting stories and her parents encouraged her to pursue this path. For several years she wrote as an entertainment writer for America Online, as well as writing for local publications. Shadow of the Swastika is her first novel. She received her BA in foreign languages at Carson-Newman College and an MBA in international economics at Middle Tennessee State University. After this she pursued a career in international business. She is an avid film photographer, having spent many years as a children's portrait photographer. Rebecca is the mother of two young men, Andrew and Zachary. She continues to live and work in Nashville, photographing and writing in her spare time. She writes with the help of Norma Jean, her cat, who can always be trusted to sit on Rebecca's laptop appending superfluous and indecipherable streams of unconsciousness to her manuscripts.
