I really enjoyed this book. I picked it up in a used bookstore because I was intrigued by the premise of 17th century murders tied to the 21st century. The story was compelling and I enjoyed the book within a book feel to it.

I very much enjoyed Stott's previous novel, and picked this up with high expectations. The Coral Thief is a very different kettle of fish to Ghostwalk, but I would say it is certainly on a par (if not better).
