This book was provided to me by the author through the M/M Romance Group DBML program in exchange for an honest review. It took a few false starts for me to start getting into the book. For one thing, there's this introduction of the character(s), kind of, before the story even begins. I sat down in ...

This book is fabulous! I got mad, I laughed, I cried for the pain the two men were feeling, and then I cried for the joy of their HEA. A nice long story of a journey. Highly recommend.

This is the kind of story that delivers exactly what I like in an m/m romance - complex main characters, lots of emotional soul searching, a journey fraught with obstacles, some hot sex and a happy ending. The story is first told from Ben's point of view, introducing a young man out to make his mark ...

This book was amazingly beautiful. Entirely focused on Ben and Adrian, their personalities, their needs, their fears and heartbreak...their love. For me, the main joy in a story, is the relationships between characters. Main character to main character, secondary to main, and secondary to secondary...

I would like to use this opportunity to give some background to the series "Opposites Attract".In these books, I will be exploring differences between the protagonists backgrounds and personalities as this is what creates the conflict that all stories need. So, be warned if that's not the type of boo...

4 StarsThis book is basically broken down into three parts so that’s how I’m going to review it. The blurb does a great job of setting up Part Red but the rest of story was a complete surprise to me.Part Red is told from Ben’s POV. He’s likes his job and his boss. He’s sleeping with a sexy guy who w...

Lighthearted feel for a book with some heavy issues. Ben is a great guy escaping small town USA and enjoying the perks of living in the big city and Gay Mecca, San Francisco. Loved his partying and then regret that he wasn't studying more for his exams. His caring nature and sense of humor, not to ...

Great read. I enjoyed watching Adrian drop all his walls and let his personality through. He's lived for the past five years as a FAKE Adrian. His father has pretty much guilt tripped him into running a company and hiding all his desires. Pretending to be a straight man and utterly dull. But then co...

I still have no idea what possessed me to pick this one up.... I hate politics, and anything at all insurance or numbers-related bores me to the point of unconsciousness.Whatever planets aligned or full moons were out the day I bought this, I have to say I'm glad I read it. I appreciated the gentle...

You know those books that aren't bad, but they seem to last forever? Like maybe the author loved their characters a bit too much and wouldn’t let go? This was one of those books. The book was okay up until about 68%, then it started drag on, and on. I finally got the drive to push on last night and ...
