I enjoyed this book.. I always do like a good bit of snark..The premise seems interesting.. I have a feeling I read this book awhile back or one of the series..It seems really familiar.. All the same I still enjoyed it, I will pick up the next in the series cuz that is what I do.. One of the best ...

This book continues to be an old favorite of mine. It officially held up through the test of time (considering I was in my VERY early teens when I first read this). I loved hearing the audio book this time around and it just added to the story as a whole. Sabina is as kick a** as ever and I lo...

Sabina is an outcast in her world. She doesn't belong to either side of her blood line, she's an unwanted woman with a special set of gifts that tends to get her into trouble. This girls a hardass with a heart, even though she likes to deny it. Her latest assignment might just be her undoing though....

So, I picked up this book because I adored Jaye Wells' Dirty Magic and Meridian Six. Both had awesome world building and interesting characters, but...I don't know if it was just the reader of the audiobook or that Jaye Wells' awesome style just didn't shine through on this one, but wow, Sabina just...

I'm finding it hard to believe that vampires are a cr...

I confess that this book wasn't one of my high priorities, probably due to not having heard of the author before or that it wasn't as popular as other Urban Fantasy books on my TBR shelf. Red-Headed Stepchild i...

Has a lot of potential but towards the middle it started to get rushed and then by the end it felt thrown together. Concept was interesting with the forbidden fruit.

This was exactly the type of book I've been looking for lately. I wanted something adult, but not necessarily *adult*! Red-Headed Stepchild was perfect in that sense. Lots of mystery, a few twists here and there, a hilarious demon-cat, hints of romance and a fun heroine. Looking forward to reading t...

Sabina is a half-vampire half-mage assassin who does what she can and tries to fit in, however the politics are going to get her killed. She has to try to stay alive and keep the peace. She's a strong interesting character and I enjoyed it. Yes, it's occasionally clunky but I would like to read...
