I liked the first book in this series and I thought the second one was very good. Thus it’s with sadness I have to say that in my opinion this, the third, book in the series went for a real nosedive. The story takes place right during the presidential campaign which of course makes my political bulls...

After reading Red, White and Blood I felt like I'd just stepped off of a rollercoaster. My adrenaline was pumping and the ending just left me speechless. Christopher Farnsworth is truly at the top of his game with his third outing of Nathaniel Cade. I loved Blood Oath and thought it was very unique....

All I really have to say about this book is, read it. In fact, read the series. Read it if you really hate sparkly vampires.I'm looking forward to the next installment.

This series just keeps getting better with each outing. I loved the flashbacks of Cade's past dealings with previous Presidents and was highly entertained by the over the top sex and violence. Listened to the audio version narrated by Bronson Pinchot who did his usual stellar job.

A predictable but terrifying ending makes this third entry in Farnsworth's series a must for fans of horror and thrillers. I eagerly await the next volume.

I continue to love how Farnsworth handles vampires. Cade is an apex predator. When humans see him most of them want to run away and/or hide. There hasn't been a single human who has met his gaze and thought "oh yeah, he's sexy, I want some of that."For his part, Cade tries to retain his humanity but...

The 3rd installment isn't as good as the previous 2 in my opinion. It felt too much like a political thriller, unlike the prequels. The first 2/3 part of the book is mostly politics and sex... maybe a bit too much sex. Cade felt like a side-character, scarcely appearing between passages of politics, ...
