This was one of my least favorite books in the series. A male and female lead that were lame together and a male lead that sucked. I think Carr was going for a reformed rake story-line taking place in contemporary times, but honestly it didn’t work. And I loathe contemporary romances where the male ...

I knew Katie was going to get her own book! As soon as she showed up in Hidden Summit, I knew she was going to end up in Virgin River somehow. I wasn't expecting her boss/soon to be boyfriend to really be a gay guy who was pretending to be straight. I guess Carr had to get rid of him somehow.

Really enjoyed this one. I got a little tired of Dylan reminding everyone of his issues. BUT I loved Conner and Leslie and Katie is one of my fav heroines. I hope we get an update on them in the next book.

3.25/ 5; 3 stars; B+Robyn Carr never disappoints. This was a pleasant story with likeable characters. I always enjoy visiting Virgin River and Grace Valley. I wasn't bowled over by this entry into the Virgin Rivers series but it was still worth reading.

I so enjoy this Virgin River series. This story had plenty of new aspects such as twin children and a bear family along with old favorites in Jack's bar. I had mixed feelings about the hero although he was realistic. Dylan is taking a motorcycle trip when he stops to help Katie change a flat tire...

This book didn't immediately grab me, in truth if it was any other author I might have put it down and moved on, but I stuck with it and despite the slow start it turned out to be quite good. It's the story of a former child star with a lot of baggage and a single mom who is looking for a solid and ...

A solid addition to my favorite literary soap opera. Dylan and Katie click immediately. They have decent chemistry and sparks do fly. He doesn't want a relationship because his family's emotional commitment history is hellish and he thinks he's pretty much illiterate in that area. Katie doesn't mean...

Redwood Bend is a solid entry in the Virgin River series. It is not the best in the series, but it has all the ingredients that make these books comforting, enjoyable and perfect to help you relax. When I started Redwood Bend I had gone through some hard days at work and this story was the perfect...

Posted on Book Chelle.Redwood Bend is the 18th book in Robyn Carr's Virgin Rivers series. It amazes me that Carr can still tell a story that is refreshing and new. I've said it before that these books have become my guilty pleasure. I welcome each couple with open arms, and am always ready to esca...

Katie Malone and Dylan Childress have absolutely nothing in common. Dylan is a child actor turned Montana rancher and pilot. Katie is a widowed mother of mischievous twins. But when fate threw them together, they saw something in each other, something that said that just maybe they could be more.Kat...
