Ages ago, I picked up The Pioneer Woman Cooks while I was looking around for a new cookbook. I can't say I've ever tried any of the recipes, but her stories about life on the ranch stuck with me, so when I saw this one at a book sale for $1 I figured 'why not?' I was in the mood for something m...

A nice mix of southern cooking with a few jazzed up girlie dishes (such as Olive Cheese Loaf) thrown in. The food pictures are vibr...

Ummm, can I give this cookbook more than five stars?? I grabbed this book from my library, but think I can count the recipes I wouldn't cook on one hand. So it is now in my Amazon cart!I must admit, I am just becoming familiar with the cooking of Ree Drummond and I can't believe what I have missed o...

An excellent cookbook/window on life on a ranch. For me it was more for reading than cooking; the food is quite kid-friendly and informal.
