Regina G. Richards, MA is President and Director of Richards Educational Therapy Center Inc. She was also the founder and director of Big Springs School, a school and clinic specializing in multidisciplinary programs for language learning disabilities, especially dyslexia and dysgraphia. After graduating from the University of Michigan with her Master's in Education, Regina began work in bilingual education focusing on teaching training and curriculum development. Regina teaches regularly at UC Extension in Riverside and has authored a variety of books and articles on reading, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and visual development. With LinguiSystems, she wrote "The Source for Dyslexia and Dysgraphia" and "The Source for Learning and Memory". With RET Center Press, She has published "Eli, The Boy Who Hated to Write", "The Writing Dilemma", "L*E*A*R*N*, Playful Strategies for All Students", "When Writing's a Problem", "Dyslexia Testing".Regina is very active in her local IDA branch, the So. CA. Tri-Counties having served as President and program chair for several years. She presents workshops and keynotes at schools and conferences nationally. Recently she has been engaged to do seminars on line.Regina is the parent of an adult son who has struggled with dyslexia and dysgraphia all his life. He is currently very successful working with computer security for a international company and being the parent of two wonderful grandchildren.
