The plot was normally what you would expect in this type of novel. What I really loved about this book was the comedy throughout. I wasn’t really expecting some laughs. It made the book stand out and an enjoyable read. The romance within was also nicely done. There were moments where it tore you up ...

A fun story but even though I enjoyed reading it, it didn't make any kind of lasting impact on me. I'm reviewing it now a couple of months after the fact and I honestly don't remember a single thing that happened. I know I liked it because I rated it 4 stars which I don't usually do.

This story of a search for a missing painting started a bit wobbly for me, due to the auction house setting and the initial characterization of Miranda having her come off as a bit of a spineless do-gooder. There are four heart warming stories in this book. A Cowboy Unmatched by Karen Witemeyer, An Unforseen Match by Regina Jennings, No Match for Love by Carol Cox, and Mary Connealy’s Meeting Her Match. Each story was unique of course and full of romance. I did not feel any of the stories were rushe...

A wonderful read! I'm a fan of these Christian authors and love everything that they do individually. So, when I saw this collaboration with them all together, I jumped at the chance to review this. I was not disappointed! These four lovely authors have taken the heart of Texas circa 1800s and brou...

In a time where even God fearing families opted for marriage within the same or better class, Molly struggles in her decision to follow her heart or please her parents by marrying into money. The premise for the story is good and there are plenty of moments that serve as a beautiful example of God’...

Molly Lovelace lives and works in Lockhart, the cultural centre of Caldwell County, Texas. She is looking for a husband who will meet her parents’ expectations and who will be able to support her in style. Who will be that man? Old friend Bailey Garner, or Edward Pierrepont? Her parents certainly fa...
