His old weekly adventure column in the Chicago Daily Herald, "The Intrepid Traveler," has been revived at TheIntrepidTraveler.net. He has served as a travel expert on CNN, NPR, Fox NEWS, and the Travel Channel. He is a Smithsonian lecturer and an occasional guest host of "The Travel Show" on WOR710 in New York.
