Release Me The Characters: Nikki FairchildDamien Stark The Story: Very FSoG but so much better. The resemblances are there but the twist J Kenner puts on the story makes it unique. The biggest of which is I didn’t hate the female lead. Nikki was independent and strong and yes she had troubles in ...

I couldn't get into this story because there was so little action. The first quarter of the book was one nights dinner party and I thought the heroine was rather weak. I started skimming and eventually gave up. Rich and powerful Damien is attracted to software company assistant Nikki.

I really liked this book, actually the whole series. At first glance you can see the similarities with FSoG, but who doesn't dream of a hot, hot, hot bazillionaire that has a single minded purpose to have the woman that intrigues him? Kenner's series and got totally involved in Damien Stark and Nikki Fairchild's story. After reading the first v...

I didn't care for this first book in the Stark Trilogy, but I am going to read forward in the series in the hopes that it improves beyond being a derivative work, which is the main issue I had with J. Kenner's "Release Me". It's pretty much a knockoff of "Bared to You", "Fifty Shades of Grey", the ...
