I am still shocked Koontz wrote this terrible book where he takes potshots at his literary critics in book form. And we get a special dog, kid, and a super wife. I feel like there should be a Koontz bingo card and you can start marking off all of the things that he always does in his books and at th...

Oh my gosh. That book was so stressful to read! I think I would rate this book 4.5 instead of just 4. The ending was a bit abrupt but it was a very good ending.

** 3.5 Stars **I vaguely remember reading this book about 15 years ago. Which basically means that I could not remember what would happen or how it would end. My brain doesn't work like that. I have been a Koontz fan for a long time, and enjoy his books. And I enjoyed this one as well (again). The ma...

Fabulous! This book started out as your typical thriller and quickly became something else entirely. I won't say what for fear of spoiling it for those who have not yet read it. I had forgotten how thrilling a Dean Koontz can be. My only complaint is the semi-climatic ending that left me wanting mor...

The one thing you can count on in a Koontz novel is that there will be a cool dog.I liked the premise of this novel. Surly book critic goes all psycho when novelist seeks him out. If it stayed with that, this may have been a great thriller. But Koontz goes off with lots of other ideas, none of which...

I absolutely adore Dean Koontz's books. Like many other reviewers, I have read much of what he has published.Relentless, while being a decent read, falls short of what we know, love, and expect from Koontz. There were no twists, oddities, suspense, or intriguing moments and the book was thoroughly h...

The first half of this book totally creeped me out. I had to get up after going to bed to make sure nobody was in the house hiding in the dark! Addictive, quick read.

Cubby Greenwich is a writer as is his wife, Penny. The humor in this book really keeps it going. Even their genius son, Milo cracks me up and their dog is a hoot. When a reclusive critic trashes Cubby's newest best seller, all hell breaks loose. Waxx turns out to be a total nutjob with major con...

This book was another of what is becoming "typical Koontz". I was always an avid fan but find lately (aside from the ODD THOMAS series), his books are getting a little cookie cutter. Entertaining read none the less if taken for what it is.

This is one of those books you don't want to put down even when you get to the end of a chapter. It is a horror/Sci-Fi book. There were times while reading where I actually caught myself laughing at his sons comments.
