Richard A. Lertzman is a film historian and author. His recent book, the award winning -Dr. Feelgood, was co-written with New York Times best selling author, Dr. William J. Birnes. It was published by Skyhorse Publishing. It tells the true story of physician Dr. Max Jacobson who quietly changed history by injecting his concotion of methamphetamine into icons of the twentieth century including President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie, Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, Tennessee Williams, Truman Capote, Alan Jay Lerner and countless others. He changed the way they thought, acted and reacted.
