This Audio Book is spoken in modern Greek language. This bestseller that managed to set free millions of human hearts tells the story of a unique seagull. A seagull deciding to celebrate life by defending his own independence. Jonathan Livingston admires and masters the art of flying, even though his flock has told him time and again that all that seagulls should concentrate on, is getting food. Jonathan has tried to be a "good gull", but he cannot hold back his desire to fly and explore. He labors his internal development and opens his wings for a travel of uplift, having the nature to share his knowledge and experience with other gulls. The flock, withdrawn and frowning, refutes his enthusiasm with disapproval. Each attempt of approach, each effort of the flock s persuasion that flying is something more of the boring process of finding food, is beforehand condemned. And thus, Jonathan Livingston -faithful to his principles and instincts- flies away hereafter, for his own life-sized travel. Jonathan Livingston Seagull is a bird who teaches us how to follow our dreams and reach our goals, no matter what anyone else might think. With the voices of: Noni Ioannidou, Stella Vait, Gregory Pimenidis, Giorgos Passakos, Nikos Sideris, Angela Christofilou, Michael Markatis, Giannis Tsikis, Panis Kalofolias, Lefteris Eleftheriou and Stamatis Zakolikos. 2.0 Ho hum...
For all hoopla I heard about this book as a kid but never read it because I thought it was about a boy and that did not interest me much as a young girl, ha ha - this story turned out to be a disappointment, and a snooze of a read.

2.0 Jonathon Livingston Seagull, Richard Bach
According to this book:1. The point of life isn't merely mundane daily survival.2. It's actually the pursuit of absolute freedom.3. Sufficient freedom will give you magic powers.4. This is because reality is just a projection of thought. According to me:1. OK - you can impose whatever purpose you ...

4.0 Bird's eye view
A very thought-provoking, though short book, JLS invites the reader to contemplate the potential tyranny of collective,taken-for-granted understanding and the value of mavericks, as a necessary challenge to the prevailing order. Bach poses a question for all of us about the price of conforming, weig...

5.0 Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Magnifique parabole sur la liberté et le regard des autres, je me demande pourquoi j'ai autant attendu pour le lire. Un très beau moment plein de poésie, très court mais plein d'apprentissages.

5.0 Jonathan Livingston Seagull
I must have read this book at least 20 times and each time I've been given a gift. Jonathan, a tenacious seagull, is bored with the mundane routine of his flock. He goes off on his own, striving to achieve perfection in flight no matter what the cost; resulting in his being exiled from the flock for...
