I tried to explain this when I squeed when I saw it for cataloguing in work. I was still trying to explain a while later as they looked at me with that look of people who aren't into genre fiction get when you start geeking out. Castle is one of my favourite TV shows. The idea that some of his st...

So far, I can tell you it's usually bad news when it takes me more than one day to finish a comic. This is day three. I'll probably finish this tonight, but there's no great urgency. I don't have to know who did it. I could easily bring this back to the library and never think about it again. B...

I love that this exists but it feels a little thrown together. A graphic novelization of the "first" Derrick Storm book (which doesn't actually exist!): SO GREAT. Excellent world building. But the mystery and the characters are lackluster (something about Nicaragua, Contras, and gold) and the storyt...

It's not half bad for a television series tie-in, a neat idea even. And it's certainly better than the Nikki Heat series. But the characters once again were just near carbon copies of the characters and story lines from Castle- in the end I may as well have just read a novelization of the series. I ...

Extremely mediocre. I enjoy the Nikki Heat books, but this one was a total yawner! If you want to get a look at this one, make sure to get it at the library!
