Rick Phanton, born in Casablanca, Morocco, son of military parents. He has worked most of his life building artifical environments for museums, zoos, and aquariums. His work has taken him to almost every state in the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii, and overseas to Italy, and Saudi Arabia. He has lived in the soutwest for most of his life and draws on experiences from the desert and surrounding mountains for many of his stories. He enjoy's writing children's books, but also survival stories filled with drama, hardships and terror. His first published book is, "Frankie". Also published, "Boston and the Bean", and "LAPTOON".
