He has written on a variety of subjects for many national publications, including The New York Times, Harvard Review, Creative Nonfiction, Commonweal, Vanity Fair, The Writer's Chronicle, salon.com, Saveur, Louisville Review, Ascent, French Review and the Michigan Quarterly Review. Richard Goodman is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of New Orleans.
