Richard Bauman enjoys writing about history, historical places and the people involved in them, which makes him part detective, part trivia hound and part amateur historian. He reads a lot, travels a lot and takes far too many digital photographs. He and his wife, Donna, also a writer, have been married 51 years, and reside in West Covina, California. They have two adult children--Christopher and Stephanie, and four grandsons—Noah, Luke, Patrick and Mason.
