Very good. Definitely the best of the 3 i've read so far. It flows nicely from one chapter to another, which incidentally are hours of the day, since this is set over a 24 hour period.I wasn't sure i was going to continue with the rest of the series after reading the first two books, but this has me...
Another great book in the series. I liked the way it focused on the events of a single day - I'm always a fan of the concurrent storylines. Also, I liked how they weren't afraid to knock off a few extra characters. A very highly recommended addition to the series.
Jokers Wild deals with some of the fallout from the second book, namely the main villain, the Astronomer. Definitely the weakest of the first three Wild Cards books. 3.5 out of 5.
The Astronomer returns in this book, and there is much bloodshed. Still a good read, but at this point, the series is settling into a few tropes that get repeated over and over.
