He has also co-authored works published in two compilations, Creating a Clear Project Plan, published by the University of Houston. The other is Projects Without Borders: Gathering Requirements on a Multi-Cultural Project, published by Icfai University Press. He has been published or quoted in leading national and international trade publications such as PM Network, IIBA's BA Connect, CIO, BA Times, Modern Analyst, Darwin Magazine, Computer World, Computer Weekly, Control Engineering, Project Management World Today, Certification Magazine, Canadian Consulting Engineer, Software Test & Performance, and Projects & Profits Magazine.Richard was one of the lead contributors to A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge: (PMBOK® Guide), 4th Edition and to A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide), 2nd Edition.Richard is a Founding Board Member of two chapters of IIBA, a PMI-Minnesota chapter colleague-of-the-year award winner, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
