Richelle is native to the Pacific Northwest, born in Utah but raised and residing in Washington State. She currently lives with her husband and three teenage sons somewhere in a compromise between a country and city setting. While in college, she completed two bachelors degrees through Eastern Washington University: Liberal Studies and Natural Science / Mathematics Education. Accompanying her love of science is true talent in the arts. Interest in drawing was encouraged at a young age, enabling her to win a handful of youth art contests. Classes in art, drama, piano, ballet, and choir granted opportunity to perform in high school and college plays where she won a lead role in 'Flowers for Algernon'. Every creative endeavor has worked to feed an overactive imagination, priming the development of a latent talent--storytelling.Richelle authors a variety of young adult books--fantasies, adventures, and some realities, always with a touch of romance. The Harrowbethian Saga is a six-book series following Queen Eena on an incredible road of adventure and discovery. These Eena books are a work of fantasy in a sci-fi setting packed with non-stop surprises and sweet romance. There are plans to continue the story of Eena in The Tribaneesian Saga. "Dandelions: The Disappearance of Annabelle Fancher", is entirely different from Eena's fantasy adventure. 'Dandelions' is a suspenseful, human-interest account detailing the harsh reality endured by young Annabelle Fancher. It tenderly acquaints the reader with a lonely young girl and shares her courage facing adversity. Many of Annabelle's experiences were taken from the lives of actual people. "Secrets of a Noble Key Keeper" is Richelle's latest release--a fun and crazy fairytale with illustrations. It details the unusual life of a young man who guards the gates of Dreamland. The main character, Gavin, was first introduced in "Dandelions: The Disappearance of Annabelle Fancher". Richelle has authored hundreds of quotes and poems, many published in textbooks, magazines, and storybooks by other authors. "Smile Anyway: Quotes, Verse, and Grumblings for Every Day of the Year" is filled with some of Richelle's favorite personally-penned quotes.
