Rick Holland was born in Harlem, NY. He now lives in the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley with his wife and two singular cats. His illustrations have been featured in many periodicals including the New Paltz Times, Kingston Times, Saugerties Times, Shawangunk Journal, New York Nights, and The Shawangunk Review. He is the creator of My Last Bardo, a cartoon that appears once a week in the New Paltz Times and online. His illustrations have also been published in books such as "The Cosmic Lottery" and the children's book, "Tales of the Rainbow Forest."Rick is also a graphic designer who makes book covers for independent authors via his online business, Vision Press (myvisionpress.com). He has been in the design business for over 13 years and the list of clients he has worked for includes Elvis Costello, Mötley Crüe, MGMT, Genesis, Amanda Palmer , Aisha Tyler, Of Monsters and Men, Mindless Self Indulgence, and Zac Brown Band.
