An award-winning journalist, he has covered technology and business for twenty years, and was one of the first business reporters to write about the Internet. After stints as the deputy editor of Fortune and the editor of Entertainment Weekly, Rick ran Assignment: Detroit, Time Inc.'s unprecedented year-long coverage of the city.
