In a way, this is typical Glenn fare, which is sickly sweet with the touch of melodramatic trauma. She writes good pulp, but perhaps I wasn't as in the mood for it as I originally thought.
Had some lost plot lines - like not showing August's new strength when mated but overall, it entertained me in a Stormy Glenn kind of way. Nothing too heavy or taken too seriously with some cute moments.
