“Sometimes the most preposterous lies are the most believable.”4 stars.Certainly an improvement from the first book, but Seth is still an idiot. Kendra has become the most capable out of the both of them, but I can see Seth learning somewhat. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.S...

This was a nice sequel to Fabelhaven, and I enjoyed it, despite the constant 'lessons' written in as though they belong in the story. It had a good plot, with some nice twists. I would recommend this to 3rd-7th graders.

This is such a cute, enjoyable fantasy read! If I had kids, I'd put this on the must read list. Read out to them, give to them to read their own, etc! Seth and kendra are very animated characters and as more and more of fablehaven unfolds, I am more and more eager to discover what lies in wait.

It was a good enough read. The book bored me more than I thought it should. Every book has it's slow parts and they are as much a part of the story as the exciting you-can't-turn-the-page-fast-enough parts but these parts had no pertinent information, no character development, no nothing. Kendra and...

As this series continues, my sheer awe and incredulity increases. These books are just plain awesome. This book picks up nearly a year after the end of book one. So, although there's a pretty big span of time covered, the characters retain their previous awesomeness of the first book. Brandon Mull re...

Way better than the previous book! The story picks up fast and magical creatures start showing up right away, which surprised me as I had thought there would some boring preamble before the characters' return to Fablehaven. Nice character development, specially on Seth. The story is filled with intr...

I don't care that I've read this book five times now. I still love it.As a lot of people have said, the series gets better with each book. The first is enjoyable, this one is amazing, the third is spectacular, and the fourth just phenomenal. But I'm getting ahead of myself. There's one thing that r...

Brandon Mull's done it again!I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did the first and it's probably the my least favorite in the series. But let me just add that I'd read it again, so that means it was pretty darn good! Kendra is still the star of the book but this is really the first time Seth becom...
