I didn't discover Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Castle/Amanda Quick until just a few years ago. My sister had been reading her for years and finally persuaded me to give one of the Arcane Society books a try. Of course, I fell in intense like with the series and "libraried" my way through them quickly. W...
Fairly predictable thriller romance with no paranormal, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had known that there was going to be no paranormal involved, I kept expecting something to pop up.
A few questions left unanswered. More than one character pointed out that somebody was scared of another character, like really scared, but we never find out why. Which is why the last few releases of hers have caused me great sadness, they just didn’t resonate we...
A quick easy read! What I liked: Ms Krentz has gotten back to her roots with the romantic suspense, River Road. It's all that you love about her books. The characters drive the story, even the ones no longer living. I love Lucy's character. She's smart, spunky and funny. Mason is the perfect c...
This just couldn't hold my attention. Both the characters and the plot felt like recycled products of some of Krentz's older romantic suspense novels. After racking my brain, I realized that the plot actually was part of an old Krentz novel. [b:The Golden Chance|186856|The Golden Chance|Jayne Ann Kr...
