Robert D. Ingram (1946-present) grew up in Brice, Ohio, USA. Graduated from Groveport High School, Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Zoology degree, and Methodist Theological School in Ohio with 2 masters degrees and a doctoral degree. He was a U.S. Naval officer and a Vietnam veteran. An ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church for 40 years, now retired, he and his wife built their home in the woodlands of southeast Ohio. He continues to write and work on the house, as well as grow fruits and vegetables. He has 8 published books and numerous articles in magazines and journals. With one exception, his writing focuses on worship, mainly as resources for pastors. Even his children's picture books were used in worship settings first. The exception was a fictional work that grew in his dreams while his wife was in the hospital for 3 months, where she was fighting for her life. Bob and Barbara have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
