Robert Wolgemuth has been in the publishing business for over 30 years. His credits include executive positions in the magazine and book industries in Illinois and Texas, the presidency of a large Nashville, Tennessee, book publisher and the co-founder, along with Michael Hyatt, of a publishing company.Dr. Wolgemuth was the Business Manager of Campus Life Magazine (1976-1979), Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Word Publishing (1979-1984), President of Thomas Nelson Communications (1984-1986), and Chairman of Wolgemuth & Hyatt Publishers (1986-1992).Following the sale of his publishing business in 1992, he and his partner founded a literary representation agency, where he currently serves as owner and president. Wolgemuth & Associates, Inc. exclusively represents the writing work of many well known Christian authors.Robert is a best-selling author, with sales in excess of one million copies. He serves as an ordained elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and has recently chaired the Senior Pastor Nominating Committee and the Stewardship Committee.A 1969 graduate of Taylor University from which he received an honorary doctorate, Doctor of Humane Letters in 2005. Dr. Wolgemuth is the father of two grown daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandchildren. He lives in Central Florida and enjoys golf, versa-climbing, reading, teaching, and The Home Depot.
