Robin Edwards was born in Cardiff and after training as a quantity surveyor, spent several years working in the middle east before returning to the UK to pursue a career in the media; writing, producing and directing for television and advertising. He was a founder of regional broadcaster Westcountry Television and Business Digest, the largest weekly circulation business magazine in Eastern Europe, where he also acted as advisor and speechwriter to senior politicians and industrialists. He has more than a dozen creative awards to his name and is author of Nearly Swinging, The Gravecloth of Christ, and the children's novels Slaves!, Enemies!, My Ghost & Me and Dodger in Oz.
