This romantic suspense was okay. It had an exciting beginning and plenty of action but it wasn't very believable. It lacked gradual buildup rather than going from one intense event to another and the heroine was disappointing near the end. When her sister's family is blown up Laurel runs with her...

I like the Harlequin Intrigue series because they're good train reading. If the plots are interesting enough, I'll read them at home. I read this one at home. A good read, but standard fare. The villain is a bit bog standard wronged psychopath, but other than that, it was good enough.
