Rodney Dubey writes on cutural and political theory. He was involved with the Rebel Arts Group in the early 1990s and like them publishes under various names. He has also been involved in video, music and performance work under other names. He has been a teacher and principal in Native schools in Canada's sub-arctic and a member and director of various NGOs. Under his own name he has published a number of periodical pieces and two books in Charivari's Scarlet Letter series: "Indecent Acts in a Public Place: Sports, Insolence and Sedition" (a 20th anniversay edition was published in 2011) and forthcoming in March 2012 "...beautiful in my own clothes...The Transgressions of Love."

Beautiful in my worn clothes presents an interesting journey of the transgressions of love through history, literature, politics and economy, which I would have enjoyed more if its pace would have been slower.
