Rod Glenn was brought up in the north east of England and lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with wife, Vanessa. His writing is of a dark nature with darkly humorous undertones. He received critical acclaim and commercial success with his second novel, Sinema: The Northumberland Massacre. He is also an actor, roles include Ripper Street, The Hollow Crown, World War Z, Vera, Inspector George Gently, The Monuments Men, Fury, Macbeth, Bill and The Fairy Flag.
