It’s been so long since I read Peak but I remember it fondly. Unfortunately, this sequel did NOT live up to my memory of Peak. I love a fast-paced adventure but this one didn’t do much for me. It was quick and easy to read but that's pretty much it. For starters, I think this book needed more ...

I may have liked this one, maybe not the best of the series, but definitely quite a close second. Or, more accurately, the last 100 pages were superb enough to bring up the first 200 pages that dragged and didn't hold much character development. Those were pretty much traveling up the Amazon River, ...

I mean... it was pretty meh... or maybe I'm just getting over the whole Secret-Service-terrorist-plot thing.

Dan continues to believe that he has no choice but to take the formula in order to win. Amy likes Jack and Ethan! Oh, dear. Whatever will she do? Sinead is the s...

I liked the story....but I did not like that the problem of the story is not resolved. The reader must read (buy?) The next book. I love series, but feel each book should be able to stand alone with some threads continuing, but not the main conflict of the book. Maybe I'm extra-sensitive working in ...

Free audio book download from audiobooksync.com August 2011.OK, this audio book wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It is geared to middle school kids and I think that boys would enjoy this story. The audio version was OK with the narrator doing the voices of each character. He wasn't too believable fo...

Five stars because I was pretty blown away by the caliber of this 4th book in the 39 Clues "Vespers" series. Roland Smith certainly upped the ante with plot. I've been left a bit traumatized and can't wait till the next installment.
