Ronald D. Ferguson, PhD. (1942- ) was born in San Antonio, TX and taught college mathematics for many years. He holds a BA from Baylor University, an MA from University of North Texas, and PhD from Texas A&M. An active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, he writes full-time, both fiction and non-fiction. His short fiction has appeared in Daily Science Fiction, The Universe Annex of the Grantville Gazette, Futures:Nature, Buzzy, New Myths,and elsewhere. He has published mathematics textbooks with McMillan(1) and with West(3). Among his interests are making stained glass, painting, woodworking, making wine, gardening, and travel.
