This story almost made me cry. I was both sad and happy for Marianne.
I read this book 16 years ago after spending time among the paper cranes at Peace Park in Hiroshima. I did not cry any less reading it today.
A short and really lackluster detailing of Madison and his wife. Gives the most basic framework of their lives.
