Roni Adams resides in a small hamlet in Upstate New York alongside the Erie Canal. She shares her home with her husband of 25+ years, two of her three sons sons; her older son is studying law in Albany, two cats and a spoiled rotten Siberian Husky. Roni spends her time writing about cowboys in Texas which gives her a perfect excuse to visit her favorite ranch near San Antonio at least once a year. New York State born and raised, she has no clue why the Texas sky beckons to her but once she is on horseback riding in the Hill Country she feels a sense of peace and home. Its a feeling that translates into her writing. Roni tends to write memorable characters with smart and sassy heroines and heroes who make you swoon. Snagged this one off of Fictionwise, and am glad I did. Heroine's temper led to some unnecessary angst, but the romance was satisfying and the love scenes delicious. Cute and easy read, with just enough steam.4/5 Stars
