Ronni L. Gordon, PhD, is a prominent author of over 40 foreign language textbooks, reference books, and multimedia courses. She is vice president of Mediatheque Publishers Services, a leader in the development of foreign language instructional materials. She holds a PhD in Spanish language and Spanish and Spanish American literature from Rutgers University, and has taught and coordinated Spanish language programs and taught Latin American literature at Harvard University, Boston University, Cornell University, and Drexel University. A foreign language consultant, she has read for the National Endowment for the Humanities, presented at the United States Department of Education, consulted on states' K-12 academic standards for world languages, and presented at conferences on Spanish American literature and foreign language instruction. She is an associate scholar of a Philadelphia-based think tank and chairman of the board of directors of Dolce Suono Ensemble. She coordinates the chamber music ensemble's Musica en tus Manos engagement initiative with the Spanish-speaking community of Philadelphia.
