Hi, I'm Rosalie Warren and I live in the UK and write books for readers of all ages.My first novel, 'Charity's Child - Dark Deed or Virgin Birth?', was published in 2008 by Circaidy Gregory Press. It's the story of a teenage girl who finds herself pregnant - and insists that the father is God. The truth, when eventually revealed, is rather shocking. The story is set in 1984 in an imaginary seaside town called Castlehaven on the North Yorkshire coast.'Charity's Child' has just been republished as an e-book for Amazon Kindle, and is available to download now. It is a fully revised version of the first edition and is suitable for age 14-adult.'Low Tide, Lunan Bay' is a romantic suspense novel aimed at adults. It's about a woman called Abbie who meets a wonderful man online and falls in love. But what is the matter with her daughters? Could Bill, the man of Abbie's dreams, be responsible for their bad dreams and difficult behaviour, or is there some other explanation?Lunan Bay, by the way, is a wonderful secluded stretch of coastline in Scotland, between the cities of Dundee and Aberdeen. I used to live near there and the fantastic scenery helped inspire my book.My book 'Coping with Chloe' is aimed at younger readers of 11 and upwards, and is about a girl called Anna, whose life is being taken over, in a very odd sort of way, by her twin Chloe. Anna's journey to understanding and acceptance of the situation is scary in parts but also has its funny moments. 'Coping with Chloe' is actually about sibling bereavement and has received 17 great reviews so far on Amazon.co.uk. It would be great to have some US readers, too.I am working on a series for young readers of 7-9, which will be published, as was 'Coping with Chloe', by Phoenix Yard Books. More news on this soon!I love engaging with my readers of all ages and hearing what you think of my work and, more generally, what kind of books you enjoy. I like visiting schools, running workshops and giving talks in libraries and so on. In fact I am very keen to help save our libraries, which are in dire danger of extinction in the UK owing to recent government cuts.I will keep this page updated with my latest news.Cheers for nowAll best wishes and happy reading!Ros
