Rosalind Brackenbury was born in England, has lived in France and Scotland, and now lives in Key West, Florida, with her American husband. She studied at Girton College, Cambridge and received a degree in history. She has always written both fiction and poetry and has been widely published in both. Her two grown children live in the UK. In 2012 she was Creative Writing Fellow at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg,VA. In January 2013 she took part in the Key West Literary Seminar, "Writers on Writers". She is working on a new novel.
