I just finished this book, and it is absolutely crazy to think that this entire town let a few young girls cause so much trouble. I wonder how they felt when most of them recanted their stories later? This is such a horrible part of history, could you imagine living in that village back then? Anyon...

Loved this book. It had a great breakdown of some of the things on Lewis and Clark's trip West. Illustrations were marvelous, only wish it had just a few more things in it from the trip.

Narrative nonfiction for the middle grades is rare enough, but good, compelling, readable narrative nonfiction is startlingly difficult to find. This fits the bill, 100%. In this book we read about Lewis and Clark about their travels. It is really interesting to read how far they travelled. It is a nice book. I think any children would like this. It's very easy to read and is written in a fun way.
