Rose Marie, a first-generation Norwegian American born and raised in Minnesota, always tries to incorporate her Norwegian heritage into her life and writing. Real Norwegians Eat Lutefisk, a children's book about the tradition of Lutefisk in both English and Norwegian, is her first published book. Dancing in the Moonlight, a short romance story set on a Mille Lacs Lake, is currently available in the anthology, Love in the Land of Lakes. Hot Summer Nights, a short romance story set on Prior Lake, is currently available in the anthology, Romancing the Lakes of Minnesota--Summer. After receiving a BA in Marketing from Concordia University, a Masters in Creative Writing from Hamline University soon followed. Since 2005, her Nordic Treats food booth has offered Scandinavian foodsfor the Norway Day celebration held at Minnehaha Falls Park each July. She has traveled around the world, including Scandinavia, but still has many places to see, enjoys attending Scandinavian events, and is usually busy writing contemporary romances or screenplays.
