I remember reading this as an early teen (13 maybe?) and it thinking it was crazy and hot. At 37 I still think the same thing. It was difficult to follow at times ( a lot of them) and the MC seemed a pretty stupid in regards to Fernando, but..she was 16 and it was the 1800s. And, she'd been shit on a...

For some authors/books it's love at first sight, for other it will be instant dislike. Be it in the years 70, 80 or 2000, it seems that I just can't like Rosemary Rogers books and this is definitely the last I read of her.A friend told me that this book is different than her old ones (mainly, no ser...

Uh... why no one caught this I have no clue. I was really surprised and shocked that a mistake this big m...

When I first started this book, I didn't quite know what to expect. The ARC that we received from Sourcebooks was pretty thick and I knew it wasn't going to be an easy read but that was mainly because of the thickness of the book. I wasn't fully prepared for what I found instead. Instead of the book...

The kidnapping/French spy drama got a bit tedious at parts, but the romance completely made up for it. I'm a sucker for a good marriage of convenience story, and this one rocked. There were two secondary romances that kept things moving as well.

I need to find this and read it again. This was the first romance I ever read. I'm pretty sure I was 12. I ended up reading more romance, found authors like Nora Roberts, who got me HOOKED...yep. need to read again. (Yes, this isn't much of a review...sorry!)
