This book was weird. The BDSM aspects didn't mesh with anything I've been a part of, the conventions were weird, and the auction was pretty unbelievable.The romance was alright, but I dunno, it seemed pretty unrealistic and stilted. There was a good story in here somewhere, crying to come out.

Tantalizing and emotional. Harte stops at a reasonable point in the story, but there is definitely a Part Two to this tale which I plan on reading. I found the alternating first person POV distracting at times though the author makes it clear by the headings under each chapter.

took a while to get into it and the switching back and forth between POV's made me confused at first, but it got better and by the end I didn't want to put it down.
