Aside from the super lame Molly subplot, I quite liked this one. Lots of action and intrigue!

This book had a bit of a slower feel to it than the first one. The last seventy percent really felt like when the story got moving. I maybe didn't love it as much as the first one, but still thought it was very good and enjoyed reading it. I've read a couple of reviews that were...

As great as I'd hoped. Don't want to write a review though, I need to find out what happens next. No one needs a detailed review of the second book in a trilogy anyway, just a good or bad. Good. Very good. But the bad guys are bad. Like, really bad, and they've come out ahead. I hope they get th...

Take just the very first chapter of "Royal Assassin", nothing more. You will find it has more depth, truer emotions, deeper meanings, and was written with more talent then some authors manage to produce in an entire novel. From beginning to end, I find nothing but enjoyment in Robin Hobb's work.

Very few fantasy series can boast this kind of average rating. Ms. Hobb also does a great job of promoting her books by interacting...

The second installment of The Farseer Trilogy sees Fitz truly become a Royal Assassin as the Six Duchies is torn apart from by both external and internal forces. The majority of the book centers on Fitz's home, Buckkeep, as he assists his uncle Verity both physically and magically to help protect th...

5 Stars. A brilliant epic fantasy, second of the trilogy, moving on to the third.Fitz has grown to young manhood and the intrigues of court become more involved. The redships continue to raid, Fitz finds Molly again and the Wit leads him to a caged wolf cub.'So, finally, I kissed her. In the moment ...
