It's an entertaining bit of fluff, but more for the women. The thing that really separates Robyn Carr's Virgin River books from other books in the genre is that she deals with issues without drowning in them. Lots of exciting action in this story but it was mainly about a woman discovering her true self with romance in the background and my rating is 3.5* Mistress Jennifer is convinced she is going to be killed,so goes into hiding and meets Alex a Vegas cop.
