The stories in these two books are definitely as intense as the first 7 volumes written by Vaughan. But they are still fun to read.
This book starts after a cross over into the civil wars time line which, frustrates me because that's not indicated anywhere. I feel like when storylines have cross over events there needs to be some sort of labeling. (only semi unrelated side note: I feel like netflix should carry cross over episo...
Something is missing here. The previous volume ended with Iron man standing in the Runaways' hideout in LA. This one opens with them trying to hide out in New York City. Something happened between one issue and the next. Crossover event? Probably. Sigh. It isn't really necessary to know what happene...
Joss Whedon writes a script that takes us back to the turn of the last century in New York. Steampunk clothes, social issues of the day, and fighting other teams of super-powered folk. Fun.Library copy.
For no real reason, I blame Joss Whedon for my liking this book the least so far.Sorry, Joss.
