I loved loved loved this book when I was a preteen. Then M. Night Shamalan had to go make a shitty movie that was completely torn from the premise and made it less impactful, somehow.
Was a very good book. I found the ending very abrupt though. I would have liked to learn more of what happened, or was going to happen. :(

I liked it. It was exciting and all. I just had difficulty believing the whole premise; it was kinda unrealistic. But it wasn't bad.
This book worked well for booktalks in the 00s - would have to re-read to see if it feels dated.
