This romantic suspense was okay. The plot was interesting and the ending was exciting but most of the story moved kind of slow with the main characters ruminating about the same things over and over. I skimmed a lot. Carlin is running from crazy ex-boyfriend when she ends up in Wyoming and works ...

A slow book, and this plot has been done beforeThis book was slow, slow, slow to develop. Zeke was not very alpha but he came across as an acceptable hero. In fact the entire book is acceptable. If you go in expecting an old Linda Howard type read from the nineties, you will probably be disappointed...

This is a gentle read, a very pleasant read at that - we have Carlin who is on the run from a nasty stalker, she is terrified and has all her guards up, she may be on guard but still has a smart mouth on her. She drives into a small town in Wyoming and takes a break in the local cafe/diner, luckil...
