I liked this story more than the first book. I enjoyed seeing Brian find his special man and both Brian and Rush were likable characters with honest fears about their future together. The special ability of Rush seemed almost irrelevant to the story rather than a feature.
I had hoped this book would be more like book 3 rather than book 1, but unfortunately it was more like 1.It was fairly tropey and I did not care for the character of Rush.
