Russell Dyer is from New Orleans and lives in Milan. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, majoring in English, Religious Studies, and Finance. He later attended the Southeastern Louisiana University where he worked on a Master's degree in English.Dyer has written hundreds of articles for several print and on-line magazines, on software, the economy, photography and other topics. He worked six years for MySQL Inc. as their Knowledge Base Editor. He now works for MariaDB Corp. as their Curriculum Manager.Dyer has also written short stories and has published a novel (i.e., "In Search of Kafka"). His second novel (i.e., "Not a Step") is a serious, life story beginning with a boy who experiences genuine love for the first time from a grandfather figure, and then spends his life seeking a woman, a lover in which he may experience that same unconditional and unselfish love.
